2010

O, such pace, time ticks and flies.

It's already one semester passed and a new semester begins. It is a busy sem. Painting, printmaking, clay modelling, all 6 hrs each a week. In addition, Art theory (3 hrs), Korean Language (4hrs) and Keusahawanan (3hrs); but the last one is not interesting at all.

Started printmaking, made test print already, will begin the edition printing coming Thursday. You guys can take a look at the subject.

Painting lessons started with water colours, followed by oil pastel, next week I'll be stretching my own canvas for acrylic painting. I still can't control the water colours. Take a look at my oil pastel with an impressionist style.

For sculpture, the En.Tengku ordered clay from Perak River. I had already done the miniature model, unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of it. Will do so soon, and upload for u guys to see.

Korean language is not that easy. Last week, the first test, I scored 27 out of 30. Not too bad eh?

Art theory's lecture is boring too. The lecturer just dictate notes and that's it. Tutorial is used for presentation by the students instead. Majority don't understand most of the English references photostated by the lecturer. My coursemates really have a hard time, trying to understand Plato, Aristotle, Giorgio Vasari and JJ Winckelmann. En.Safrizal is a better lecturer.

Well, at least I picked up where I left, and hope to make it regularly updated.
Chio.

IS the black and white paintings - printmaking?
I love the nostalgia feelings of the story and the subjects.
