visiting War Museum

Do you know that there is a War Museum in Penang? I was surprised too.

Ai Poh came yesterday and took me round island. Went to Balik Pulau, Teluk Bahang, almost there, didn;t go that far. The museum is on the way to Batu Maung. It was previously the British military fortress. You can still still see some of the remains of the fortress, including the tunnels and quarters, and the canon firing bay. However, you know the way relics and historical heritage are restored and preserved if they fall into the hands of the untrained. There are some very old old trees growing just like those in Bayon, Angkor Thom, yet they went and painted the wall green, together the lovely tree trunks were also painted GREEN! So sad. Sometimes, the one given the rights and authority to restore and preserve the heritage is actually defacing and destroying it. What pitiful state.

Well, that aside, I'm uploading another drawing of mine for you guys to comment. The scenery is in front of the Maths School. Its drawn with marker pen. That's to make sure that we can't erase.
