End of July, finally settled down. It's been a month and I had lost 2kg. University life is a bit hectic for people like me. The Lecturers are good. I like the drawing class especially. En. Sharul is the lecturer teaching us. He didn't blow his top though the students were a bit over the other day. I would have scolded my students for coming to class sooo late, almost half an hour!
We had to produce 20 sketches the first week, 2nd week another 20 blind contour drawings and 20 contour drawings. 3rd week was interesting, we had to contour draw our models in 30mins, 25mins, 20 mins, 15mins, 10 mins and 5 mins. By the time we get the hang of it, time flied and class over! This is the only lecture that all of us think time is not enough.
Today we were taken out of class and wandered in the university compound to look for scenes to draw. It was 2pm, hot hot hot! All tried to get the coolest spot. I chose the picturesque spot in front of the maths and computer school. Lots of big trees and greens. Again I find time just swished and fled. We had to draw with marker or ink, no more pencils. En.Sharul didn't want us to erase our mistakes. We had to observe and plan before we started drawing. Though hot and sweaty, it was rewarding.
This week finally I could get done with all my work and settle down to write and post.
