2nd week in Aberdeen

Have to work backward so that you guys can see the journey from day 1. Will start the post today so that you can start to have a better picture of what I do here.

I had just boil a pot of chicken soup so that when Sally and David come back they can have a bowl of hot soup. The weather today is fine. Fine in the sense that, there is sunshine, though it is still cold inside the house. It is still chill and cold. It's no wonder that the westerner starts their conversations with " O the weather is fine!". We asians tend to start with "chi bao ma?"

The neighbourhood as a whole is to our liking, peaceful and secure, very quiet. Pace is slow. Lots of beautiful florals and faunas. But I doubt if I would go out and do the gardening!
Sally took us to the nearby Duthie Park on our arrival. The park is big and maintains a big greenhouse showing lots of beautiful flowers. Daffodils are a common sight, along the trail of footpath, on the slopes, everywhere in fact.
The town looks very European, like what we saw in TV and magazines and postcards. Very antique indeed.
